1. Top level managers often face the unstructured decisions. Because their main duty is to make sure that the aim of company could be reached, and to make the strategic decisions. In this duty they will face the problems that they do not face before. The problems need to be solved with the unstructured way, it means that they must be creative, have many innovation to handle the problems. Because if they are not creative and could not make a good unstructured decision. They will be very difficult to get the company success. So there is not clear standard how to solve the problems. Not only the problems, but also the top level managers must make the target that sometimes, that is a new target. So to make the brave target they must have new idea. For example the managers would like to get more profit in the next year, so  they must have structure ideas that there is not standard, because the ideas must be different with the year before because  to get different profit ( more profit ) compared to the year before.  It is very different with the down level managers, they will often face the operational problems, so because they always face them, they have the standard how to solve the problems. With the standard they could make structure decisions. And the result usually will be same with the result of past problems.

2.  System of supporting decision is information system. With information the managers will have reflection, and the result of decision will have guidance in the process to get the success of this. There is the pattern of this :

INPUT – PROCESS – OUTPUT

So the input is the system of information. For example the manager of Human Resources Department would like to increase the salary of the staff, he / she must use all information especially the information about the quality of the staff ( do they have good quality or not and are they suitable to get more salary or not ) and the information about the organization / company financial ( is the company surplus or not ). So by using the system of information the decision will be supported to get good good result.
